Portland Trip- Day 4

We decided to spend our first weekend, and thus, first work-free day for Ross, in Oregon out at the beach. We headed to Canon Beach which was about 80 miles from our hotel. We had a GREAT time!! I loved it! The weather was perfect. It was sunny without being blazing hot. We spent the whole day there, and came back to eat some left over pizza and watch a movie on TV to wind down.

I love that you can sit on the sandy beach and see snow capped mountains with pine covered hills just in the distance.

We got a burger and some clam chowder at a local restaurant.

The camera ran out of battery after this. I got some good pictures on my phone from when we went over to Haystack rock after this. As soon as I figure out how to get them from my phone to the computer, I will upload them as well.
