Car Show

Ross had heard about the Car Show and really wanted to go see it. When he heard that kids got in free on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we decided to head on down. When I told the kids that we were going to see some cars in the same place they had the Festival of Trees, they got really excited about seeing Santa at the Festival of Cars. Thankfully, they still had a lot of fun despite the lack of Christmas cheer.

We stopped at Pier 49 Pizza first, and the boys enjoyed some PINK lemonade.

The Museum of Natural Curiosity had a display with some fun science experiments. The kids made these parachutes to put in the wind tubes to see which designs would fly the best.

There was a cool display by KSL with a real bobsled and a teleprompter at a kid-sized news desk.

 Oh, the Scion hamsters.
Jack loved the bright orange cars.

 Testing out the suspension.

This Jeep had a gun mounted on the back, so they pretended to shoot things at the giant gecko balloon. Apparently, this car has been in a bunch of movies, so that was cool.

This room of old, restored cars was a highlight for Ross.

Tiny racers with giant balloons. Lots of fun!

This is definitely not my kind of thing, but I love learning new things from Ross and his interests.
