Easter Outfits

We cheated a little bit on the girls's Easter dresses this year. Emma is wearing a dress she got for her birthday, and Sara is wearing a dress Emma got for her birthday last year. I still think they are both incredibly cute and spring-timey. Emma was devastated when I told her she could not take her Easter basket to church with her. her arguments for the case were quite strong- especially for a 3 year old.
"Jesus wants me to share."
"It will make me be a good girl."
"I really like it and want it."
"The Easter Bunny will take it away if it stays here."
and my personal favorite, "I will be really naughty now all day!"

It's a good thing Ross knows how to calm down his little girls.
Seriously- the tenderness he has with our girls melts my heart and makes me fall a little more in love with him every day. I am a lucky, lucky woman!
Thanks, Judy for raising such an amazing man!
This was literally about a minute after her Easter basket melt-down.
Sara got a little jealous though. . .
We tried to get a good picture of the two of us. The best one of us Ross ruined with inappropriate hand placement. . . so this is the one we ended up with.
Ross wore his new shirt and tie from the Easter Bunny.

I tried to catch her kissing my cheek- but got her pulling away.

Also- that sock was in Emma's basket. We don't usually have random socks lying around. . .

Oh Easter. You had a fun one. Is it sad that I think that picture of Emma crying is one of the cutest pictures ever?
