Ross and I recently had appointments and found out that along with our graying hair (no joke) we are also going blind. We now have glasses.
Ross is hot in glasses. Just so you know.
Today while we were putting the girls to bed, Emma kept commenting on my glasses. They are a bit new and exciting for her as I just got them today. She kept asking me why I had them, where I got them, and other questions.
"Do you wear them to bed? Can you get pink ones? Can cats wear glasses?"
I love kids.
Anywho. . . Just as she was all tucked in after prayers and I was heading out the door she said,
"Mom, I can't see very good right now."
Uh-oh. I knew what was coming. I knew she was about to ask me if she could go see the doctor, or if she could get some glasses, or if she could borrow mine or something like that. I just KNEW it. I looked at Ross, and could see from his expression that he was expecting the same thing.
Imagine our surprise and delight when she did not request an appointment with our optometrist, but rather stated, "I know what I can do! I can eat some carrots tomorrow!"
Best idea ever.
