Why We Haven't Been Posting Much

 This is our basement!  Our previously gross, dusty, unfinished, and not up to code (we learned that during renovation) basement!  We've been a little bit busy with this!  We love it, and had our first party in it on Sunday for Sara's birthday.  This has been a long time coming!  We have been planning and saving up for this for a while.  We weren't able to finish the bathroom down there yet as it ended up costing a bit more than we expected, so we need to save up some more money.  We hope to get that done in the next 2 months

This has opened up a lot more space for us, got the blasted TV out of my bedroom, allowed us to start making the office into a nursery for Little Buddy, and raised our property value by at least 3 times what the whole thing cost us.  That will be more once the bathroom is down there as well.  Yay!
