These are some pictures from our visit to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point. We had a lot of fun introducing Emma to the real versions of all the animals she loves reading about in books and watching on animal planet.
Unfortunately, she tried to steal one of the bunnies and was placed in prison. At first she thought it was a blast and enjoyed her time as a rebel. . .
but then she realized the severity of her crime and found some remorse.
After she was released we went to celebrate at the local saloon and dance hall.

Emma and this turkey had a long and meaningful conversation. 
Emma also got to have her very first pony ride!
Sorry Brittany, I don't like the cows- even the baby versions- as much as you do.

you don't love baby cows? blasphemer! in recent news, emma doesn't look all too thrilled to be riding a pony. what gives?! it's every child's dream, i thought.
I know- we were really surprised!! The minute we got there, all she kept was says was, "Neigh neigh- where the neighs?" I guess she was a little young for it- too high up or something.
