On most Saturday mornings Ross and I let Emma sleep in as long as possible while we enjoy some time together. One Saturday, we heard Emma moving around on her bed, but she wasn't crying, so we just left it alone. Later on we thought we heard her door open and were expecting her to come and join us in our bed like she usually does, but she never came. Finally, around noon, Ross and I were anxious to run some errands, so we decided to make sure that she was OK and maybe wake her up for the day. When we went into her room, we found that she had snuck into my purse and eaten a blue dum-dum I had taken from work the day before.
