Just Some People That Mean an Awful Lot to Me

 Grandma Wallace and my Mom
Mom and Heather.  Wonderful women.  I am blessed.

Grandma Wallace.  Pillar of strength -- don't let that tiny stature fool you!
Grandpa Wallace.  Those smile lines are no lie.
Mi Amor.  I will spend my life trying to feel like I deserve him.
Caulene- love the shades!  This girl is an amazing aunt and sister.
Dana- she's not usually this serious, but she is always beautiful
Dad- for good or bad, I am definitely his daughter.

Reading at Grandma Wallace's House

I have a gazillion pictures from Father's Day at my Grandma's house because my sisters took the phone.  I love when they do that!  To keep from a hug post with all the pictures at once and avoid being e-yelled at, I will split them up as best as I can.  Here are some cute shots of my girls reading some of the same books I enjoyed at my Grandma's house as a child.  It makes my heart happy to see how much they love reading. :)
Poor Emma gets super red in the face after any tiny amount of physical exertion- just like her mother.  Some of my genes are pretty obnoxious...
Grandpa started making up a story about Sara in an effort to make friends with her.  She tried so hard not to pay any attention, but it got too hard in the end.

Grandpa: Sara is a bunny who hates to eat chocolate because it makes her sad!
Sara: No, that is not right!
Grandpa: Well it has to be, it says so right here.
It worked pretty well until Emma pointed out that Grandpa wasn't reading the right words.

Outdoor Concert FHE

My friend Mike had an orchestra concert in the amphitheater near the Timpanogos Temple, so our family headed out there for FHE, and then walked around the temple afterwards.  Emma had fun with the camera for a bit while we waited for it to begin.

Luke got all wide eyed every time the trumpets could be heard.  So cute.  We may have a brass player on our hands!

KFC in a park with awesome music?  Yes, please!

 There's Mike with his tuba.

Sword Fight at the Garden

I was in the car feeding the baby while Ross and Jack were out watering the ward garden one day when I looked over and saw this.
Jack had seen Ross's bit of PVC pipe for the sprinkler system and had to find his own.
Once he accomplished this, it was time to fight, because all long stick-like objects are swords.  It's in the boy handbook.
I just loved this funny little scene, and I zoomed in the camera as far as I could so I could capture this sweet moment without them noticing my intrusion.
Ross is such a good dad.  Jack is such a fun kid.  I am a lucky woman!
