The Big Move
Back in March, Ross made the decision to find a new job, and we decided to go ahead and re-locate to Utah. It took him a couple of Months, a few trips to Utah, and a handfull of interviews for him to find a job he was happy with. He now works with the Brent Brown Auto Group selling cars for the Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge lot. So. . . if any of you are in need of a new car, I know a great guy over at Brent Brown who can get you a good deal! Anyway, here is how that particualr week from you-know-where went down. We were staying at my grandparents house, and Ross had been going to about 3 interviews a day for a week. Finally, on a Tuesday he got the job at Brent Brown- but they said he had to start on Friday. So, for the rest of Tuesday we went apartment hunting, and found one that was in our price range. Then we drove up to Rexburg and got there around midnight. Ross helped to put Emma down to bed while I began packing everything up. The next morning Ross went and got a moving van, and we spent the ENTIRE day loading it all up. All of our home teachers and Elder's Quorum leaders just happened to be out of town, so it was up to us. Fortunately there was a very sweet lady with a few kids who was willing to entertain Emma outside while we slaved ourselves away. The next day we were up bright and early, and drove down to Utah where we got Ross's brother Joe to come and help us unload. I really don't think we could have done it without him. The next morning Ross was up again with aches and pains all over from moving everything that we own twice in two days- and he started his new job.
