Houston Trip: Day 1

Our first day in Houston was pretty low key. We all slept in and then did the school work we needed to catch up for our travel days. We are starting the home schooling for Emma right now, and so far it has been pretty awesome. When we had all of that done, we went to the store to stock up this room with everything we would need to make some good meals with the limited tools we have available here.

We got a yummy dinner ready for Daddy (he had requested a good pasta) and then we went for a walk and watched a movie in the hotel room before bed time.

This is the only picture I have of this day, and it cracks me up. Things are hotter and more humid here than we are used to, so the AC unit turns on all the time in room. Luke LOVES it. Every time he hears it click on, he scrambles over as fast as he can and enjoys the nice cool air. It is so cute.
