Grandma's Halloween Carnival

 My mom watched the kids while Ross and I went to the temple one Saturday, and while we were gone, they got to go to her ward's Primary Halloween carnival.

 Jack forgot to grab a costume when we left, so I put Heather in charge of getting him ready. She did a fabulous job and somehow found this costume which might look like an alligator, but is most certainly a dinosaur if you ask Jack.

 They tried to get that bandana on Luke, but it looks like that didn't last long.

It was a fun day for them, and a wonderful time for Ross and me to get back to the temple.

Caulene's Birthday

 Caulene turned 25 in October. We had cake and brought her a present that the girls helped pick out. Sara got a little intimidated with all the people at the table, so she found herself a more quiet spot to enjoy her cake.

Emma's Classroom Halloween Party

Somehow I ended up as Emma's room mom. I didn't really want to since I have three kids to take with me to everything (and no way am I trusting them with the PTA kids care dealio) but nobody else really could, so I offered to help. I feel kind of bad for the kids since I am not the most crafty of people and like to keep things simple, but hopefully they are young enough to not know how dis-serviced they are being and still have fun. Here is their simple little Halloween bash.

They made monsters out of shapes.

They played a monster version of Don't Eat Pete!

We made a dancing skeleton craft.

They also played Halloween Bingo.

After this I played them the audio to Big Pumpkin, which is a fun little Halloween book that was put to music. When the story was over they got cookies and juice and giggled until the bell rang.

This is the class mascot. The kids love him. Also, he had a blow out 2 seconds after I walked in the room, and his extra set of clothes were not in the bag, so he just hung out like this. I am an awesome mom. Oh well- he was happy, and the kids loved him, and if the other moms want to judge, they are welcome to take over the Room Mom post! :)

The School Halloween Parade

 Jack put his tiger mask on while his hair was still wet, so it dried like this. I loved it!

 Miss Corky tried so hard to get a picture of her cute Ukrainian son in his fabulous old man costume, but her camera died, so I tried to snap one for her.

 There's my pretty girl!

 Sara dressed up as a princess who was going to a Halloween party. That is pretty much the most creative thing I have ever heard. My kids are brilliant. That is all I have to say about that.
