First Days Home From the Hospital

Sara's Pre-School Graduation

 I wasn't able to be at Sara's Pre-School graduation because Luke and I were still in the hospital.  Ross took lots of pictures for me to enjoy later that day.

 

 Her outfit cracks me up.  She has her own unique fashion sense and I love it.

 I love this picture because you can see Jack taking advantage of the fact that all the adults are busy with other things.  Little stinker!

I am sad I couldn't be there, but I sure am proud of my little Sara!  She has learned a lot this past year!

Sara's Zoo Field Trip

 Sara's Pre-School class went on a field trip to the zoo on May 15th, so we all tagged along with her. That gorilla was awesome.  He came right over to the window and stared at Jack.  The kids loved it.

 Jack was more excited about this ball than he was about the tigers.  Silly boy.

 The tigers were amazing.  Right when we came to the window two came down and started playing in the water.  They were so beautiful.  That made the whole day worth it for me.

 We ended the day at the bird show, which is always fun for me even though it never changes.  I like birds.  It also gave me a chance to sit down in the shade for 30 minutes.  Not a bad thing for the day before I had the baby...

 Sexy man.  He is so fun!  I love that he is always up for a fun adventure with us.  We loved the day so much, even with my huge waddling.  We bought a zoo pass, so we plan to go back soon.

Planting the Ward Garden

Through some very random turns of events last year, Ross and I ended up being the ward garden specialists.  That is laughable consider our lack of gardening expertise and our rather un-green opposable digits.  Last year it was kind of dropped in our laps, and we were playing catch up and were on perpetual damage control form the get-go.  We tried to be more organized this year with planting maps, calendars, schedule, donation drop-offs, and all manner of Google/Wikipedia research.  Having a baby kind of threw a kink in all of that, but things are starting to look up again even though I need to re-plant a lot of the original crops.  We have a lot more support this year than we did last year, and now that I am back on my feet, things are gonna start taking off here really soon.  Here are the happy helpers we had when we first planted the garden (3 days before I had Luke.  I was hugely pregnant, and so grateful for such a good turn out!)
