Sleeping Beauty :)

We went to the Gardens on campus because I hadn't had any good pictures of just Emma and me, and the cutest ones we got were still of Daddy and Daughter!
This is our Lion King pose in honor of Emma's favorite song. "In the Jungle"

This was Emma's first trip to the zoo. OK- so maybe we went more for my benefit than hers, but it was a fun day. We took my best friend Carrie and had a great time.

Our favorite part of the whole day was the bird show. It was the first time I have ever seen a real live bald eagle. It was wounded and couldn't fly- but it was still pretty amazing.

What a sweet heart! Ross needs to be careful- she already knows how to get whatever she wants out of Daddy.

Such a happy baby! We love how much she smiles and giggles.

How could you not fall in love with a face like that?

We tried to put her in a pretty headband and a bracelette from Grandma Goodman, but she pulled the headband off, and tried to eat the bracelette. Oh well, I still think she was cute!
A lot of people asked me why I didn't have Grandma Goodman make a pretty dress for emma like she did for Brooke. It may be silly, but I decided that I wanted Emma to be blessed in the same dress I was blessed in.
Ross' parents came out to Utah for Emma's blessing, and we were very excited to see them. It had been almost a year since the last time we were able to enjoy their company.

Emma was excited too- but she showed her enthusiasm by spitting up all over her grandpa's boots.
He simply replied that the boots had seen worse. . . I didn't ask for details.

Emma is enjoying her new mobile.

I think I can . . .
Here are some beginning attempts at crawling. This is Emma in mid-roll.
